Overview

The online Master of Science in Aging Studies program is designed to provide a multidisciplinary education for future and current professionals in gerontology. We are committed to maintaining the quality and distinction of the program that was exemplified by our recognition as a Program of Merit by the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education. Opportunities are available for Âé¶¹´«Ã½ to gain exposure to specialized expertise in aging theories and research, aging policy issues, health and aging, communication strategies, lifelong learning practices, psychology of aging, and the process of aging in a global and culturally diverse society. This expertise prepares Âé¶¹´«Ã½ for a wide range of careers in the field of aging, including direct community and social services, program administration, government agencies, higher education, long-term care, health and wellness, and entrepreneurship. The program also offers an an option in Long Term Care Administration.
