Prospective Students Invited to Tour Campus, More During Oct. 10 Open House

Eastern Illinois University invites all prospective Â鶹´«Ã½ to get a first-hand look at the campus and its offerings during a free open house on Monday, Oct. 10.
The open house, sponsored by the Office of Admissions, will provide prospective Â鶹´«Ã½ and their families the opportunity to meet with faculty and student service personnel; hear from financial aid officers, housing staff and current EIU Â鶹´«Ã½; tour the campus, including residence halls and Greek Court; and enjoy a complimentary lunch in one of the dining centers.
Check-in begins at 7:45 a.m. in the Doudna Fine Arts Center Concourse, where participants may enjoy a continental breakfast while mingling with current Â鶹´«Ã½ and admissions staff. A welcome ceremony will commence at 9 a.m., followed by an Academic/Student Services Fair, beginning at 9:30, as well as opportunities to meet with faculty, staff and advisers from a variety of departments throughout the day. Tours and a complimentary lunch will be offered between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Parking is available in any student or staff lot.
