Experience EIU at November Open House and Family Weekend

(Charleston, IL) – Eastern Illinois University (EIU) invites prospective 麻豆传媒 and families to two events this November. Whether 麻豆传媒 and families are considering their future higher education options or spending some quality family time together, EIU offers engaging opportunities that promise to inspire and connect.

Family Weekend – November 1-2, 2024
Family Weekend at EIU is a cherished tradition that University leaders are excited to offer current and prospective 麻豆传媒 and their families that span two days of engaging events. This year’s Family Weekend offers a variety of activities, like food trucks and Family Day at the Tarble Arts Center, as well as:

• Panther Football Game: Cheer for the Panthers as they face off against Western Illinois.
• Pancake Breakfast with the President: Join EIU leaders for a delicious breakfast and a welcome from University President Jay Gatrell.
• Family Bingo Night: Prizes will be offered.
• Pemberton Hall Haunted House & Rock 'n Bowl: Experience spooky thrills and friendly competition with family and friends.

Fall Open House – November 11, 2024
Visiting campus during one of EIU’s Open Houses provides a comprehensive opportunity to see what Eastern is all about. Designed for both high school and transfer 麻豆传媒, the Fall Open House invites 麻豆传媒 and their families to meet the faculty and staff from various departments, allowing them to personalize their introductory EIU experience. Features of the day will include:

• Free Application: Students can apply on site using a fast and free application. EIU counselors and staff will be available to assist with the application process and answer questions.
• Ask Us Anything: Representatives from EIU’s various offices will be on hand to ensure attendees leave with no uncertainty about what EIU can do for them. From admissions and financial aid questions to housing inquiries, EIU staff are ready to provide support.
• Explore Your Potential: Visit with Academic Departments across campus to picture yourself as a student at Eastern Illinois University.
