The official PSM degree requirements are listed in the . The following sample course sequence is designed to develop core competencies in Geographic Information Science and its application to the business, government and non-profit sectors. All degree candidates must successfully complete 32 semester hours, to include 12 semester hours of required core classes, a 3 semester hour statistics requirement, a minimum of 3 semester hours of internship and additional electives as needed to meet the 32 hour degree requirement.

Study Plan

The student, in consultation with the advisor, must obtain approval of the study plan from the program director and student’s advisory committee prior to the completion of 12 semester hours of graduate credits, which count toward the graduate degree.
