MEAL PLANS

Students living in the residence halls and Greek Court have a room and board contract and automatically have a meal plan. Off-campus Â鶹´«Ã½ (including Â鶹´«Ã½ in University Court and University Apartments), faculty, and staff may purchase a meal plan separately.

The meal plans are encoded on your Panther Card. Each plan allows you to eat a specific number of meals in the University-operated dining centers each week. Additionally, the Meal Plan permits each person to use a specified number of Dining Dollars. 

These meals cannot be shared with another person, nor do they roll over from week to week. At the end of the fall semester, if you are returning for the following semester, any remaining Dining Dollars on your account will automatically roll over to the spring semester, with all Dining Dollars expiring at the end of the spring semester.

 

• New Incoming First-Year Students:
  • $5713.00 - 10 Meal Plan = 10 Dining Meals Each Week, plus $200.00 Dining Dollars per semester
  • $6087.00 - 14 Meal Plan = 14 Dining Meals Each Week, plus $200.00 Dining Dollars per semester
  • $6510.00 - All Access Meal Plan = Unlimited *Dining Meals Each Week, plus $200 Dining Dollars per semester
• Off-campus Â鶹´«Ã½ can choose from Block plans or Dining Dollar-only plans.
  • 50-Block (Dining Center Meals), includes $150 Dining Dollars
  • 100-Block (Dining Center Meals), includes $150 Dining Dollars
  • Block plans are good for the semester. Unused meals do not roll over to spring.  Unused dining dollars DO rollover, IF the student purchases a new meal plan for spring
  • Off-campus Â鶹´«Ã½ can also choose All-Access, 14 or 10 meal plan 

MEAL PLAN VALUES

• Meal Swipes Per Week are served in the Residential Dining Centers.  Unused meals do not accumulate nor are they reimbursed. They reset Monday mornings and you may eat every 2 hours. If you eat at 8:00 am, you will be able to eat again at 10:01 am.

• Dining Dollars may be used for a la carte purchases at the Marketplace Convenience Store, Java B&B, and University Food Court. They may also be used to purchase meals in the Residential Dining Centers for a 20% discount. Dining Dollars deplete as they are used and are good for the academic year.

To Increase a Meal Plan: A meal plan can be increased at any time by filling out the proper form at the front desk of the Office of University Housing and Dining Services.
To Decrease a Meal Plan: Meal Plans can be decreased no later than the Friday following the first class day of each semester by filling out the proper form at the front desk of the Office of University Housing and Dining Services.
