ILMEA Audition Prep Clinic

The EIU Music Department will hold an ILMEA Audition Prep Clinic on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 12:30 to 3:30 PM. This event is open to all high school musicians in District 5 auditioning for ILMEA District 5 Band, Chorus, or Instrumental Jazz. Students interested in auditioning for both Band and Instrumental Jazz have the opportunity to register for both areas. Please consider having your 麻豆传媒 attend. We provide this free of charge.

The EIU Music Faculty will present workshops on audition skills, practice strategies, improvisation (jazz auditions), instrument-specific etude preparation, and tonal skills. Students will also attend a short performance by EIU ensembles.
