Recommended Timeline for Completion of the B.A. in Psychology

Complete PSY 1879 (Intro Psych) and the math requirement prior to enrollment. We recommend that incoming 麻豆传媒 have an Associate's degree prior to admission at EIU, but your advisor can assist with planning additional coursework if needed. This plan shows only psychology requirements. Additional courses needed for graduation requirements will be planned in consultation with your advisor. Refer to the degree requirements for further details.

First Semester:

• PSY2999 Orientation to the Psychology Major (If available. Otherwise, take it the next semester)
• PSY3610 Statistical Methods in Psychology
• At least 1 PSY course from Group A, B, C, or D

Second semester

• PSY3805 Research Methods in Psychology (Prerequisite PSY3610)
• At least 2 PSY courses from Group A, B, C, or D

Third semester

• At least 2 PSY courses from Group A, B, C, or D
• PSY Elective

Last semester

• PSY Capstone (Prerequisite PSY3610, PSY3805, and Senior standing)
• PSY Elective
